Project Controls Manager – Airport Project (Venezuela)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead the planning, cost control and performance measurement functions for a major airport development in Venezuela. The role will coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and finance teams to ensure the project stays on schedule, within budget and meets quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule and project baseline.
• Monitor cost, schedule and scope performance against approved baselines.
• Prepare cost forecasts, estimate at completion (EAC), cash‑flow projections and variance analyses.
• Coordinate progress measurement, reporting and dashboards across all disciplines and contractors.
• Review contractor/sub‑contractor schedules, progress, costs and forecasts.
• Identify risks, recommend corrective actions and support change‑management, delay analysis and impact assessments.
• Lead and develop the Project Controls team and ensure implementation of procedures and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• 8‑12+ years of project controls experience, including management‑level responsibility.
• Experience on major airport, infrastructure, EPC or construction projects.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is an advantage.
• International project experience preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Proficiency with project controls systems and software.
