Project Associate (Collective Sites)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Project Associate to support the implementation and monitoring of collective sites projects in Caracas. The role involves coordinating administrative actions, handling data, and ensuring project budgets are managed effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of project activities.
• Retrieve, compile, summarize, analyse and present data on specific project topics.
• Monitor project budget, verify fund availability, obtain approvals and update budget information.
• Serve as the focal point for administrative coordination, liaising with internal units and external partners.
• Draft status reports, identify shortfalls, escalate issues to the supervisor and propose remedial actions.
• Prepare correspondence and other project‑related documentation.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in project administration, monitoring or coordination.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple tasks.
