Product Manager – Onsite in San Salvador

About the role

Applaudo is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead digital products from concept to launch. The role is based onsite in San Salvador and will focus on public‑sector solutions that align business goals with user needs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategy that meets client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Establish a clear product vision and translate it into measurable MVP goals.
• Lead discovery workshops and requirement definition with design, research, and engineering teams.
• Convert insights into actionable roadmaps, epics, user stories, and prioritised backlogs.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure high‑quality delivery and continuous iteration.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, anticipate risks, and adjust plans proactively.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Product Design, EdTech or a related field.
• Product Management certification or specialization.
• 5+ years of experience with software development teams using Agile methodologies.
• 4+ years in a Product Manager, Product Owner or Product Leader role.
• Strong technical background enabling effective collaboration with engineers.
• Proven track record managing the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Experience in complex, regulated or public‑sector environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience tracking product and business metrics.
• Professional proficiency in English and willingness to work onsite.
