Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to support the procurement activities of our construction projects. The role involves sourcing materials, obtaining quotations, processing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery while complying with company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
• Prepare RFQs, purchase orders and related procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Track purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Assist in supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering, commercial, stores and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, specifications and project requirements.
• Support inventory planning and material availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.

Required skills

• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier coordination and purchase order management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
