Part-time Remote PhD Peer Reviewer for Education Journals

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in Education or related fields to provide high‑quality peer reviews for academic journals and publishers. This is a high‑paying, part‑time position that can be performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of manuscripts and determine their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Check literature reviews for relevance and completeness.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity and validity.
• Provide constructive, written feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and ethical considerations.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection based on your assessment.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area.
• At least 3 papers published in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals within the past two years.
• At least 12 papers published in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals over the past ten years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality and objectivity.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
