National Project Officer – CCCM (Caracas)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a National Project Officer to support its CCCM (Camp Coordination and Camp Management) programme in Venezuela. Based in Caracas, the officer will assist in the coordination, monitoring and reporting of project activities, ensuring alignment with IOM policies, donor requirements and the humanitarian objectives of the mission.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the operational, administrative and financial aspects of the CCCM project in accordance with IOM standards and donor guidelines.
• Provide regular updates to the supervisor on project implementation status, identify gaps and propose corrective actions.
• Participate in the development and adjustment of work plans, budgets, monitoring and evaluation tools and standard operating procedures.
• Collect, verify and analyse data and background information; maintain and update information‑management systems.
• Ensure compliance with IOM policies, donor reporting requirements and internal controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination, monitoring and reporting within a humanitarian or migration context.
• Familiarity with operational, administrative and financial project components and ability to work with donor requirements.
• Strong analytical skills for data verification and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
