National Project Officer – CCCM (Caracas)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a National Project Officer to support its Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) programme in Venezuela. The officer will work closely with the project supervisor to ensure effective implementation of operational, administrative and financial components of the project.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and monitoring the operational, administrative and financial aspects of the CCCM project in line with IOM policies and donor requirements.
• Provide regular updates to the supervisor on project status, identify implementation gaps and propose corrective actions.
• Contribute to the development and revision of work plans, project budgets, monitoring & evaluation tools and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate the collection, verification and analysis of project data and background information.
• Maintain and update information management systems and relevant social‑media platforms with accurate project information.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating and monitoring humanitarian or development projects.
• Familiarity with donor reporting requirements and IOM operational guidelines.
• Ability to prepare and adjust work plans, budgets and M&E tools.
• Strong analytical skills for data verification and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is an advantage.
