National Project Development Officer – IOM (Caracas)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a National Project Development Officer to support its mission in Venezuela. The role will be based in Caracas and focuses on coordinating project proposals, reports and knowledge‑management activities to advance IOM’s migration programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the review, endorsement and tracking of project proposals developed by the mission, ensuring integration of the Strategic Results Framework (SRF).
• Oversee the review, approval and monitoring of project reports.
• Promote the use of Knowledge Management platforms and tools across the region, driving effective use of PRIMA.
• Identify project development opportunities and calls for proposals, supporting policy and report development at mission level.
• Contribute to the development of project‑related policies and documentation under the guidance of the Head of PSU and Chief of Mission.

Required profile

• Experience in coordinating project proposals and reporting within an international or humanitarian context.
• Familiarity with the Strategic Results Framework (SRF) and knowledge‑management practices.
• Ability to work closely with mission staff, partners and donors.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PRIMA knowledge‑management platform.
