Medical Virtual Assistant – Spanish Bilingual

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Medical Virtual Assistant to support physicians by preparing and managing medical records remotely. This full‑time position offers flexible hours and the chance to contribute to high‑quality patient care from a dedicated home workspace.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble medical record documentation and charts for physicians.
• Ensure compliance with medical record standards through self‑documentation attestation.
• Update patient histories, physical exams, and other health information in electronic records.
• Send completed documentation to physicians for review and approval, following facility‑specific procedures.
• Monitor turnaround times for basic lab results and screening procedures.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission requirements.
• Perform additional clerical tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Reliable high‑speed internet (35 Mbps or higher) and a dedicated quiet workspace.
• Laptop or desktop with at least an i5 processor and 8 GB RAM.
• Noise‑cancelling headset and webcam.
• Availability for an 8 am – 5 pm shift, Monday to Friday.
