Lead Developer - Web, Apps & AI Systems

About the role

The Code Marketing is seeking a Lead Developer to design, build, and maintain both internal and client‑facing web applications. You will work across the full stack, from gathering requirements to deploying AI‑enhanced solutions for a diverse portfolio of brands in Puerto Rico, the United States, and Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and Python.
• Design system architecture and data models aligned with business processes.
• Implement production‑ready LLM‑based systems, including retrieval‑augmented generation, function calling, and cost‑control mechanisms.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and construct reliable data pipelines.
• Ensure websites meet performance, technical SEO, and analytics standards.
• Scope, estimate, and document technical projects and deliverables.

Required profile

• 4+ years of full‑stack development experience in production environments.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong documentation habit and ability to work autonomously.
• Portfolio of production systems with accessible code or walkthroughs.
