Junior Game Developer – Java & libGDX

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Game Developer to join AquSag Technologies remotely. You will work on 2D game modules using Java and libGDX, collaborating with AI specialists to generate high‑quality training data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise simple 2D game features with Java and libGDX.
• Work closely with AI experts to design interactive game elements for data collection.
• Implement core mechanics such as sprite handling, game loops, and input processing.
• Debug and troubleshoot code to ensure performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and help improve coding standards.
• Document development processes and workflows for cross‑functional teams.
• Provide regular status updates and seek feedback from teammates.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of Java and object‑oriented programming.
• Hands‑on experience with libGDX from coursework, personal projects, or prototypes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Interest in game development and willingness to complete an AI interview.

What we offer

• Hourly rate between $20 and $120.
