Information Management Officer (Temporary, 4 months)

About the role

The Information Management (IM) Officer will lead the national IM function for UNICEF in Venezuela, supporting the Cluster Coordination team and sub‑national groups. This temporary four‑month appointment ensures that data collection, analysis and sharing are effectively used to guide evidence‑based humanitarian decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the IM processes at national level, ensuring timely and accurate information flow.
• Support sub‑national coordination groups in line with agreements with Cluster Coordinators.
• Collect, analyse and disseminate data essential for strategic decision‑making by Cluster, Sector and Working Group participants.
• Facilitate coordination among humanitarian actors to ensure a coherent response to the emergency.
• Maintain IM tools and databases, guaranteeing data quality and accessibility.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in information management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
