Human Resources Manager – Airport Project

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR activities for a large‑scale airport construction project. You will ensure the right workforce is in place for a demanding multi‑shift schedule while maintaining strong employee relations and full compliance with local labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute workforce planning and mobilization strategies, coordinating with construction managers to secure skilled labour for day and night shifts.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and quality‑of‑hire for management, technical and site‑level positions.
• Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and welfare programmes including accommodation and transportation for shift workers.
• Ensure compliance with local labour law, visa and work‑permit requirements, working with legal and government teams.
• Supervise payroll processing and benefits administration, guaranteeing accurate and timely payments.
• Coordinate training and development, covering HSE inductions, technical certifications and airport‑specific (AVSEC) awareness.
• Provide regular HR reporting and workforce analytics to project leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
• 12–15 years of HR management experience in construction, with at least 5 years as an HR Manager on large, multi‑shift infrastructure or airport projects.
• Proven track record in large‑scale workforce mobilisation, labour‑law compliance and employee‑relations management.
