HR Coordinator

About the role

The HR Coordinator will support all core HR functions for a local operation, ensuring compliance with Venezuelan labor laws and fostering a positive employee experience. This role partners closely with hiring managers, employees, and regional HR teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, from sourcing to onboarding, and support workforce planning.
• Serve as primary contact for employee inquiries, manage conflict resolution, and facilitate communication between staff and management.
• Ensure compliance with Venezuelan labor legislation, maintain personnel records, and assist during labor inspections.
• Administer payroll, benefits, salary reviews, and compensation analyses.
• Support performance appraisal processes, training programs, and talent development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR databases, generate reports, and support internal and external audits.
• Drive employee engagement, wellness, diversity, and inclusion programs.
• Partner with local leadership on operational objectives, organizational changes, and expatriate administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or related field; postgraduate studies are a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in the oil and gas sector is highly valued.
