Fitness Trainer – Group Classes

About the role

Planet Fitness is seeking an enthusiastic Fitness Trainer to lead its PE@PF group fitness program. You will help members achieve their goals by designing simple workouts, teaching proper equipment use, and creating an engaging class environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and conduct PE@PF group classes.
• Consult members on fitness goals and demonstrate safe equipment usage.
• Develop creative promotions to increase class sign‑ups.
• Produce bi‑weekly exercise updates.
• Assist front‑desk duties such as phone handling, member check‑in, new member sign‑ups, tours, and account updates.
• Maintain club cleanliness and appearance.

Required profile

• Honesty, strong work ethic and punctuality.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Passion for health and fitness.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally.
• Completed fitness trainer certification.
