Finance & Operations Lead

About the role

IMMEKA Medical is a fast‑growing U.S. medical‑device startup seeking a Finance & Operations Lead to build an AI‑first, technology‑enabled operating organization. You will work directly with the CEO, own business systems, and progressively manage the entire back‑office.

Key responsibilities

• Identify repetitive tasks and implement AI, Odoo, and Microsoft 365 automation solutions.
• Own Odoo configuration across sales, purchasing, inventory, invoicing, and accounting; drive improvements with an external consultant.
• Manage end‑to‑end order‑to‑cash and supply‑chain processes, including inventory planning, international logistics, landed‑cost calculation, and cash visibility.
• Develop financial reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and internal controls.
• Recruit and onboard a second back‑office specialist, delegating routine transactional work.
• Partner with the CEO as an analytical thinker: model performance, evaluate investments, and translate strategy into execution.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in finance, accounting, consulting, industrial engineering, or related fields.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Odoo ERP.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 and AI/automation tools.
• Solid understanding of AR, AP, cash flow, COGS, inventory accounting, and basic financial statements.
