Elixir Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Elixir Developer to join BairesDev’s fully remote team. You will work on scalable applications using Elixir and the Phoenix framework, collaborating with top‑tier engineers on high‑impact projects for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement applications with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Build and maintain APIs and backend services.
• Develop concurrent and distributed systems.
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality.
• Monitor and optimise application performance.
• Collaborate with team members on technical solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience with Elixir.
• Proven experience building APIs and Web Services.
• Experience with database technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure.
• Experience designing and implementing software modules for real‑world applications.
• Proficiency in writing and executing unit tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced level of English.
