Electrical Project Manager

About the role

Wesworth Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead projects from pre‑construction through handoff. The role focuses on accurate estimating, bid strategy, client acquisition, and technical guidance to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop precise labor, material, and overhead estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects while ensuring 100% compliance with NEC/IEC codes.
• Analyze drawings and specifications to identify value‑engineering opportunities and mitigate risks before bid submission.
• Prospect and engage new clients such as developers, general contractors, and HOAs to build a strong bidding pipeline.
• Serve as the technical authority for clients and internal teams, clarifying specifications and providing expert guidance on electrical system designs.
• Review scopes of work, prepare RFIs and change orders, negotiate with subcontractors and vendors, and support material procurement for a seamless project handoff.

Required profile

• Electrical Engineer (required).
• Strong background in electrical estimating and project management.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and architectural drawings.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
