Data Architect – Databricks & Python (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Data Architect to design and implement enterprise‑scale data platforms using Databricks and lakehouse architecture. The role is fully remote and focuses on aligning business objectives with robust, scalable data solutions on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data models for lakehouse architectures with Databricks and PySpark.
• Establish data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
• Architect scalable data pipelines and storage solutions that integrate diverse sources into a unified platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reference architectures and best practices for data management.
• Optimize platform performance and cost through efficient resource utilization and architectural improvements.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture or Data Engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing enterprise data platforms using Databricks and lakehouse architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark for large‑scale data processing.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS data services.
• Experience defining data governance frameworks and domain‑aligned data models.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
