Consortium Partnership Officer – Caracas

About the role

The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is opening a new implementation office in Caracas to support the emergency response to the June 2026 earthquake. The Consortium Partnership Officer will ensure that consortium‑funded projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with donor and DRC requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support the establishment and functioning of consortium governance structures such as steering committees and technical working groups.
• Coordinate consortium kick‑off, inception and programme review meetings.
• Oversee consolidated planning, reporting and financial monitoring across consortium partners.
• Identify and address risks, implementation challenges and contractual obligations promptly.
• Represent DRC and the consortium in meetings with donors, coordination bodies and other external stakeholders, as delegated.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Programme, Country Director, Technical Coordinators, MEAL, Finance, Grants, Supply Chain and Area Managers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing or coordinating consortium‑based humanitarian projects.
• Strong understanding of donor requirements, consortium agreements and DRC policies.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple partners and internal units.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
