Conference Producer

About the role

The Conference Producer will design and deliver commercially successful conference agendas for Energy Capital & Power, covering emerging trends across the energy value chain. You will work closely with sponsorship, marketing, operations and IT teams to create programmes that attract delegates, sponsors and industry leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct extensive market research, including at least 20 buy‑side and sell‑side calls per event, to identify trends and shape agenda topics.
• Develop and maintain event programmes, ensuring 75% of speakers are new and updating all digital platforms.
• Identify, recruit and manage senior‑level speakers, moderators and panelists, handling invitations, biographies and logistics.
• Coordinate with marketing, content and IT teams to publish accurate speaker profiles and promotional material.
• Maintain speaker and stakeholder data in HubSpot, track confirmations and manage production milestones.
• Support on‑site delivery, brief speakers, monitor session performance and analyse attendee feedback for future events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Political Science, Law or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in conference production, event content development, journalism or related fields.
• Proven track record of recruiting senior speakers and delivering commercially successful programmes.

Required skills

• CRM experience, preferably HubSpot.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with event management systems.
