Compliance Engineer - Remote Work

About the role

As a Compliance Engineer at BairesDev, you will align technical operations with global governance and security standards, acting as the bridge between engineering practices and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and maintenance of compliance frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI.
• Design and execute risk assessments and control mapping to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Author and manage technical policies and documentation for regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate internal audits and support external examinations to ensure continuous compliance.
• Manage regulatory reporting channels and provide insights into the organization’s risk profile.
• Partner with technical teams to embed compliance controls into development and infrastructure lifecycles.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in compliance engineering, governance, risk, or information security.
• Proven expertise in implementing SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI frameworks.
• Strong background in conducting risk assessments, control mapping, and internal audits.
• Experience writing policies and technical compliance documentation.
• Hands‑on experience with audit support and regulatory reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
