Chiropractic Medical Virtual Assistant – Intake, Records, Follow-Ups

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Chiropractic Medical Virtual Assistant to support a busy chiropractic practice. The assistant will handle patient intake, manage medical records, and coordinate insurance and workers’ compensation workflows, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth clinic operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect patient histories before appointments using structured scripts.
• Review and organize medical records, including MRI reports and other documents.
• Upload and correctly categorize records within patient charts or EMR.
• Work with AI‑generated clinical information and transfer relevant details into charts.
• Prepare charts prior to patient visits.
• Follow up with patients regarding missing information or documentation.
• Request medical records from imaging centers or other providers when needed.
• Communicate professionally with patients via phone, email, or messaging.
• Maintain organized and accurate patient records.
• Assist front‑office workflow as needed.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a chiropractic office or supporting chiropractic providers.
• Experience with U.S. insurance processes for injury treatment (e.g., BCBS, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna).
• Understanding of medical billing concepts such as ICD‑10, CPT, EOBs, and superbills.
• Proven ability to collect patient history information or perform intake.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment.
