Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant / Receptionist (Spanish/English)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant / Receptionist to support a busy US‑based skin clinic. The role is fully remote and focuses on front‑line patient communication, appointment scheduling, insurance verification and prior‑authorization coordination, allowing the in‑clinic team to concentrate on direct care.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls promptly, provide information, route concerns and document call details.
• Manage the clinic calendar: schedule, reschedule, cancel and confirm patient appointments.
• Verify patient insurance coverage, update eligibility information in records and communicate patient responsibility.
• Coordinate prior‑authorizations by gathering required data, submitting requests and tracking status with payers.

Required profile

• Fully fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Minimum 1 year experience supporting a US medical clinic, preferably in a receptionist or front‑desk capacity.
• Comfortable handling high‑volume patient calls in a busy healthcare environment.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, dependable and able to work independently.
• Willingness to work remotely as a dedicated clinic support resource.
