Bilingual Patient Follow-Up Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, dependable, and personable Bilingual Patient Follow-Up Specialist to join our growing personal‑injury medical practice. Working remotely, you will focus on clearing a backlog of patient follow‑up calls, documenting recovery progress, and supporting attorney requests with precision and care.

Key responsibilities

• Contact patients 4‑6 weeks after their visit to assess recovery and current condition.
• Conduct outbound outreach via calls, texts, or approved channels, maintaining professionalism and persistence.
• Complete structured symptom questionnaires and record responses accurately in the practice’s tracking database.
• Respond to attorney and law‑firm requests for evaluations, medical records, and billing documentation, ensuring completeness and high accuracy.
• Upload completed records to designated portals and track outstanding requests to prevent gaps.
• Provide end‑of‑day reports summarizing calls, outreach attempts, pending follow‑ups, and completed tasks.
• Learn scheduling and intake workflows to provide backup coverage and assist with general administrative duties as needed.

Required profile

• Strong medical assistant experience with a focus on patient communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a second language.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive medical and legal information.
• Persistent yet courteous approach to reaching patients who are difficult to contact.
