Awards Officer – Caracas

About the role

The Awards Officer will support the Awards department in Caracas by coordinating report preparation, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and maintaining up‑to‑date records in the Awards Management System (AMS). The role works closely with Finance, Operations and the PQI team to deliver high‑quality donor reports.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Awards Coordinator in preparing timely program reports that meet donor and internal standards.
• Support day‑to‑day award management and donor compliance activities.
• Monitor the country reporting schedule and follow up with partners and internal teams to ensure on‑time submissions.
• Maintain clear communication with Operations, Finance and the PQI team regarding award‑related issues.
• Ensure AMS records, including the partners' report schedule tab, are current and contain all required documentation.
• Flag potential issues, amendment requests or audit concerns to the Head of Award Management.
• Contribute to capacity‑building efforts in report writing and award management standards.
