AI Engineer – Field Support (Venezuela)

About the role

We are seeking an AI Engineer (Field Support) to accelerate the expansion of artificial intelligence initiatives across Venezuela. The role provides hands‑on technical assistance to development teams, designs and deploys AI‑driven solutions, and ensures alignment with business and digital transformation objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Increase AI fluency throughout the organization and support AI implementation across multiple business domains.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and integrate AI solutions.
• Design, train, and deploy machine‑learning models using appropriate platforms and frameworks.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI systems in production.
• Support data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation activities.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve AI systems.
• Document AI workflows, models, and best practices.
• Provide technical support to teams implementing AI, ensuring alignment with IT and business strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AI/ML development or data‑science roles.
• Relevant certifications in AI, machine learning, cloud or data‑science platforms.
• Proven experience deploying AI models in production environments.
• Preferred experience with oil and gas industry processes.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic environments.
