Accounts Payable Specialist (Remote – Venezuela)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑obsessed Accounts Payable Specialist to support a U.S.-based client while working fully remote from Venezuela. The role demands precision, consistency, and zero tolerance for careless errors in all AP processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review vendor invoices with meticulous accuracy and meet deadlines.
• Manage Accounts Payable balances and supporting documentation with zero‑error standards.
• Handle utility invoices (electricity, water, internet, HOA, etc.) and cross‑check against prior statements.
• Ensure precise expense coding and approvals for every entry.
• Support month‑end close related to AP activities.
• Reconcile AP accounts and proactively resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with vendors and internal teams in English.
• Maintain audit‑ready AP records at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Professional English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Previous experience working with U.S.-based companies.
• Hands‑on Accounts Payable experience.
• Based in Venezuela and available for a full‑time schedule.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
