Shopify Plus Developer (Remote)

About the role

As a Shopify Plus Developer at BairesDev, you will design and enhance high‑performance e‑commerce solutions for large‑scale storefronts, leading technical implementation and integration efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build custom Shopify themes from scratch using Liquid and modern front‑end standards.
• Develop and deploy custom Shopify Apps with Node.js or Ruby to extend platform functionality.
• Create headless commerce architectures with Hydrogen for superior speed and flexibility.
• Configure advanced Shopify Plus features such as checkout extensibility and multi‑store localization.
• Integrate complex third‑party systems (ERPs, PIMs, payment gateways) via robust APIs.
• Optimize the buyer journey for speed, scalability, and conversion across all devices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience focused on e‑commerce.
• Proven expertise in Shopify theme development and mastery of Liquid.
• Hands‑on experience with Shopify Plus features and Hydrogen.
• Strong understanding of front‑end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
