Senior Software Engineer – Remote

About the role

MincaAI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own key modules of its AI‑powered workflow automation platform for the insurance industry. You will work remotely, delivering end‑to‑end features and shaping the product’s architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship full‑stack features, including backend APIs, data layers, and frontend integrations.
• Build microservices using Python 3.11+ and FastAPI following clean‑architecture and DDD principles.
• Develop and maintain the React/TypeScript dashboard and workflow UI with Vite and Tailwind CSS.
• Define data models, write migrations with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic.
• Integrate external services such as Microsoft Graph, OpenAI, and other third‑party APIs.
• Set up and optimise CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and AWS infrastructure (ECS Fargate, RDS, S3).
• Drive architectural decisions, propose improvements, and ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert‑level Python (FastAPI) and strong React/TypeScript skills.
• Deep understanding of clean architecture, DDD, and microservices patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Passion for AI and familiarity with LLM APIs.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to make architectural trade‑offs.
• Experience in startups or small autonomous teams.
• Excellent written communication in English (Spanish optional).
