Sales Manager – Venezuela

About the role

Weichai Group, the largest engine manufacturer in China, is seeking a high‑performing Sales Manager to lead its business in Venezuela. The role covers Gen‑sets, industrial engines, marine engines, commercial vehicles and construction machinery, driving customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales action plans and strategies to meet targets set by top management.
• Increase market share and sales volume for Gen‑sets, industrial engines, marine engines, commercial vehicles and construction machinery.
• Identify and onboard new distributors for emerging business lines.
• Plan and conduct direct marketing activities and deliver product presentations to existing and prospective clients.
• Maintain high levels of customer service satisfaction and nurture client relationships.
• Monitor, report and follow up on sales activities for management review.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and customer insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Gen‑sets, industrial engines, marine engines, commercial vehicles or construction machinery sectors.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Gen‑sets, industrial engines, marine engines, commercial vehicles and construction machinery.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the above product categories.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, planning and organizational abilities.
