Machine Learning Engineer – Remote

About the role

Join BairesDev as a Machine Learning Engineer and lead the design, development, and production of advanced ML, NLP, LLM, and agentic AI solutions. You will work remotely with a global team, delivering high‑impact AI products for major clients.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑define AI solutions with product, engineering, and data stakeholders, turning business goals into measurable metrics.
• Build data pipelines and feature‑engineering workflows using Python, PySpark, and Databricks.
• Develop, train, evaluate, and maintain traditional ML models and cutting‑edge NLP/LLM solutions (Transformers, embeddings, RAG, structured outputs).
• Design agentic workflows that connect LLMs with tools, APIs, retrieval systems, and business rules, including safety checks and observability.
• Package, deploy, monitor, and retrain models on Databricks/MLflow and AWS, exposing reliable FastAPI services for real‑time, batch, and async workloads.

Required profile

• 7+ years of end‑to‑end experience delivering ML, NLP, LLM, and agentic AI solutions.
• Strong expertise in NLP, text intelligence, and LLM techniques (tokenization, embeddings, semantic search, RAG, hallucination mitigation).
• Proven production MLOps experience with Databricks, MLflow, and AWS, including CI/CD, monitoring, drift detection, and cost optimization.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
