Bilingual Commercial Lines Account Associate

About the role

As a Commercial Lines Account Associate you will support a U.S.-based commercial insurance agency, handling policy quoting, servicing, and renewals. The position requires fluency in both English and Spanish and is ideal for professionals located in Peru who understand the U.S. insurance market.

Key responsibilities

• Rate commercial insurance policies, build carrier applications, and manage quoting/requoting cycles.
• Complete, update, and process standard ACORD forms for accurate carrier submissions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of policy servicing, including endorsements, updates, and issuance of Certificates of Insurance.
• Conduct proactive renewal follow‑ups, handle renewal communications, and execute policy cancellations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client and policy records in agency management platforms and perform routine CRM and carrier platform audits.
• Serve as a liaison between top U.S. insurance carriers and internal agency teams to ensure smooth policy progression and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in commercial lines insurance operations.
• Native or professional‑level bilingual fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational habits and familiarity with the U.S. commercial insurance landscape.
• Based in Peru (or willing to work remotely from a similar time zone).

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Applied Epic, EZLynx, and PL Rater (or similar rating systems).
• Proficiency in completing and reviewing ACORD documentation.
• Experience navigating carrier agent portals and submitting applications to major U.S. carriers.
