Machine Learning Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a senior Machine Learning Engineer to design and deliver end‑to‑end AI solutions, including NLP, large language models and agentic AI. You will work remotely with a global team, turning business problems into production‑ready models that run reliably on Databricks, MLflow and AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑define ML, NLP and agentic AI solutions with product, engineering and data stakeholders.
• Build data pipelines and feature‑engineering workflows using Python, PySpark and Databricks.
• Develop, train, evaluate and maintain traditional ML models and advanced LLM/NLP solutions.
• Design agent workflows that connect LLMs with tools, APIs, retrieval systems and business rules.
• Package, deploy, monitor and retrain models on Databricks/MLflow and AWS, exposing FastAPI services for real‑time, batch and async workloads.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience delivering end‑to‑end machine‑learning, NLP and LLM solutions.
• Strong expertise in NLP, text intelligence and LLM techniques (tokenization, embeddings, semantic search, RAG, structured outputs, function calling, guardrails, hallucination mitigation).
• Hands‑on experience with traditional ML models (classification, regression, ranking, forecasting, segmentation, anomaly detection, explainability).
• Proven production MLOps experience with Databricks, MLflow and AWS (model packaging, CI/CD, monitoring, drift detection, cost optimization).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
