IT & Cybersecurity Risk Lead

About the role

Messangi is seeking an IT & Cybersecurity Risk Lead to strengthen the organization’s security posture and support strategic cybersecurity objectives. The role works remotely with cross‑functional teams across infrastructure, networking, support and cyber domains to manage technology risks in a corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and monitor vulnerability analysis of the technological infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and measure internal security policies and standards.
• Participate in architecture reviews and enforce security controls.
• Engage in security operations, including incident detection, investigation, containment and remediation.
• Conduct alert analysis, security monitoring and operational troubleshooting.
• Document procedures, standards and security controls.
• Establish security‑by‑design practices and review integrations for access control and data protection.
• Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) activities and compliance efforts.
• Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to embed security requirements into system development and operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Networking or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in cybersecurity, security platform administration, incident response and alert analysis.
• Conversational English (B2) and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud security and translating standards into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.
