Retail Marketing Leader – Caracas

About the role

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Retail Marketing Leader to act as the critical bridge between Marketing and Sales in Caracas. You will drive brand performance on the shelf, ensuring our products dominate the market through flawless execution and deep shopper insight.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement 7P & channel strategies, aligning consumer and trade insights with annual activity plans.
• Oversee channel investment plans, maintain Gross to Net targets, and maximize ROI.
• Lead Category Management initiatives, approve SKU mix, and set commercial margins.
• Drive “Command the Shelf” initiatives, reviewing displays, shelf space, and inventory weekly.
• Partner with Demand Chain to develop commercial plans that meet volume, share of market, weighted distribution, and GTN goals.
• Conduct monthly promotional performance analyses and propose competitive alternatives.
• Lead monthly business reviews to diagnose performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage and develop the marketing team, aligning career plans with company objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in retail marketing, trade marketing, sales or market research agencies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
