Remote Immigration Paralegal (Employment-Based)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced immigration paralegal to join our fully remote team. You will work closely with U.S.-based attorneys, handling employment‑based visa cases and ensuring smooth client communication in both English and Spanish.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and prepare visa petitions, affidavits, appeals, motions, and other immigration documents.
• Submit immigration petitions and applications to the appropriate agencies before deadlines.
• Conduct legal research on immigration statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Communicate with clients in English and Spanish, providing updates and answering inquiries.
• Maintain organized case files and accurate documentation for each immigration matter.
• Prepare and review immigration forms for various visa categories.
• Support attorneys with administrative tasks related to immigration cases.
• Track visa deadlines and case progress, keeping attorneys informed.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience as a legal assistant, law clerk, or paralegal in a U.S. immigration law firm.
• Law degree (or equivalent) from your home country.
• Bilingual proficiency in English (C1+) and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Resides permanently in Latin America and can work independently on multiple projects.
• Reliable laptop (Windows or Mac, 2017 or newer) with a stable internet connection.
