Communications Officer – Professional (Caracas)

About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Communications Officer to support its mission in Venezuela. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and directly supervised by the Head of PSU, the officer will work closely with program managers and other focal points to deliver media and communication activities.
Key responsibilities
- Implement media and communication activities for the IOM mission in Venezuela.
- Coordinate with the Head of PSU, Head of Programs, Program Managers and relevant focal points to ensure alignment of communication efforts.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Development, International Relations or a related field with at least two years of relevant professional experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with comparable experience.
