Senior Video Editor – Performance Advertising

About the role

We are a fast‑growing Shopify‑based DTC brand focused on molecular hydrogen products. We are seeking a Senior Video Editor who specializes in performance advertising and can create direct‑response ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short‑form performance videos (30‑150 seconds) with scroll‑stopping hooks, dynamic subtitles and retention overlays.
• Generate realistic AI‑powered UGC ads, AI spokesperson videos and product‑focused creatives using modern AI tools.
• Collaborate with the Creative Strategist and UGC Project Manager to execute weekly ad briefs and produce multiple creative variations for rapid testing.
• Analyze ad performance data, iterate on winning patterns and stay up‑to‑date with emerging AI creative technologies.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience editing direct‑response video ads for DTC brands, with a portfolio of paid Meta, TikTok or YouTube Shorts ads.
• Proven ability to produce hundreds‑to‑thousands of paid advertising creatives and to optimize videos for conversion.
• Comfortable iterating quickly based on feedback and performance metrics.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects (or equivalent).
• Daily use of AI creative platforms such as Higgsfield, Runway, Veo, Kling, Pika, HeyGen, ChatGPT or Claude.
• Experience editing AI‑generated animation, UGC‑style content, influencer videos and testimonial formats.
