About the role

This temporary analyst position supports Mondelēz International’s Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team in Venezuela. Working under close supervision, you will classify, examine and analyse accounting records, prepare financial reports and statements, and contribute to special projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support U.S. GAAP and statutory financial reporting, balance‑sheet reconciliations, KPIs, fixed‑asset accounting, restructuring and inter‑company charges.
• Assist month/quarter/year‑end close activities, statistical reporting and statutory audit coordination.
• Maintain a strong controls and compliance environment, including SOX reporting.
• Provide audit support and respond to auditor requests.
• Execute special projects, analyses and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to a high‑performing AER team and pursue personal development.

Required profile

• Strong desire to advance a finance career.
• Experience with accounting and external reporting, understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS or local GAAP, and close processes.
• Knowledge of policy, controls and compliance design, preferably SOX.
• Business acumen in FMCG/CPG or Big‑Four accounting environments.
• Leadership and communication skills, team‑oriented mindset.
