Technical Service Manager – Gas Turbine Maintenance

About the role

The Technical Service Manager will lead the technical planning of maintenance activities for medium, small and large gas turbines operating in Venezuela and Colombia. The role involves defining scope, schedule and resources for outages while coordinating closely with sales, project managers, field services and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and oversee maintenance activities for Siemens Energy turbine fleet across Colombia & Venezuela.
• Define technical scope, schedule, activity breakdown and required resources for each outage.
• Collaborate with Technical Sales, Project Managers, Field Services and customers to capture and formalise technical requirements.
• Lead the tool‑depot strategy to support each project and conduct technical meetings on‑site or online.
• Provide regular progress reports to the District Service Manager and ensure compliance with EHS and quality protocols.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (Bachelor’s).
• Minimum 7 years experience as a mechanical field service engineer or Technical Project Manager in Power or Oil & Gas.
• Professional fluency in English (spoken, written, read).
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % domestically and internationally.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules, priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
