Supply Chain Officer (Professional)

About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Officer to support its mission of humane and orderly migration in Venezuela. Reporting to the Chief of Mission or Head of Office and working closely with the Resources Management Officer, the incumbent will coordinate supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services to beneficiaries.
Key responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes in line with IOM’s Supply Chain Management objectives.
- Coordinate with the Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean and the Supply Chain Division at Headquarters.
- Ensure optimal pricing, quality, and timeliness of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all supply chain transactions.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve logistical challenges.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
- Professional experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics within an international or humanitarian context is preferred.
- Ability to work under the supervision of senior staff and in collaboration with regional and headquarters teams.
