Supply Chain Officer (P)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a Supply Chain Officer to manage and optimise supply chain activities for its Country Office. Working under the Chief of Mission and the Resources Management Officer, the officer will ensure that goods and services reach beneficiaries efficiently, cost‑effectively, and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic planning for supply‑chain operations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct logistics capacity assessments and market research to inform procurement decisions.
• Coordinate with the Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean and the Supply Chain Division at Headquarters.
• Oversee procurement processes to secure quality goods and services at optimal prices.
• Monitor delivery timelines and address any supply‑chain disruptions.

Required profile

• Open to first‑tier (internal and candidates from under‑represented IOM Member States) and second‑tier candidates.
• Encourages applications from qualified female candidates and from non‑represented member countries.
• Relevant experience in supply‑chain management, preferably in a humanitarian or UN context.
