Supply Chain Assistant – Procurement (Caracas)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant (Procurement) to support its resources management functions in Caracas, Venezuela. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and the Resources Management Officer, the role focuses on procurement, logistics and asset management in line with IOM/UN procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement and logistics activities, including working with vendors and service providers.
• Support asset management processes.
• Ensure compliance with IOM and UN procurement and logistics rules and procedures.
• Collaborate with national and international institutions as required.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field with at least two years relevant experience, or high school diploma with four years relevant experience.
• Experience in procurement, logistics and vendor management.
• Familiarity with IOM/UN procurement and logistics rules is an advantage.
• Certification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
