Sports Manager

About the role

The Sports Manager will lead the development and delivery of the school’s sports programme, fostering a positive, healthy, and purposeful sporting culture for students, staff and the wider community.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and align sports activities with the school’s mission, vision, values and policies.
• Maintain a cooperative and professional relationship with staff, parents and external institutions.
• Support coaches, student‑athletes and parent delegates as needed.
• Produce regular updates and reports on tournament schedules, logistics and coach performance for the Management Team.
• Uphold the school’s safeguarding and child‑protection commitments.
• Undertake any other duties reasonably required by leadership.

Required profile

• Proven professional experience in the sports industry, sports administration or athletic coaching.
• Previous managerial or supervisory experience within a school, sports club or athletic association.
• Professional proficiency in English (intermediate level or above) and ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding, child protection and a positive sports culture.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
