Solutions Architect - SWC

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Solutions Architect for its SWC business segment. The role will define and champion integrated control‑system architectures that leverage Rockwell Automation technology, working closely with account managers and commercial teams throughout the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define the overall architecture for specific applications and advocate integrated solutions based on Rockwell Automation’s portfolio.
• Collaborate with Business Unit commercial resources to develop technical and commercial proposals for integrated control systems.
• Support the opportunity cycle from prospecting to proposal presentation, ensuring solutions align with customer needs and competitive positioning.
• Deliver proof‑of‑concepts and defend the technical solution during proposal presentations.
• Maintain expertise in the Integrated Architecture Builder (IAB) and related tools.
• Submit at least one application per month to the Innovation Center team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Minimum five years of experience in commercial or project‑management roles within an industrial or technical environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Integrated Architecture Builder (IAB) or equivalent architecture tools.
