Senior Supply Chain Associate (Procurement)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Associate (Procurement) to join its mission in Caracas, Venezuela. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and the Resources Management Officer, the incumbent will manage resource management functions within IOM’s procurement and logistics framework.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes and coordinate with service providers and vendors.
• Oversee asset management processes.
• Ensure compliance with IOM/UN procurement and logistics rules and procedures.
• Collaborate with national and international institutions.
• Train and coordinate internal teams on procurement and logistics matters.
• Support the Resources Management Officer in resource planning and reporting.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field with at least four years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with six years of experience.
• Experience in procurement and logistics, working with service providers and vendors.
• Experience with asset management processes.
• Familiarity with IOM/UN procurement and logistics rules and procedures is an advantage.
• Experience working in an international, multicultural organization and in training and coordinating teams.

Required skills

• High level of computer literacy.
• Ability to work with national and international institutions.
