Senior Supply Chain Associate (CCCM)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Associate (CCCM) to join its Caracas office. The incumbent will support the procurement function, ensuring that goods and services are acquired efficiently, transparently and in line with IOM’s humanitarian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities, including reviewing and consolidating purchase request forms.
• Organise and evaluate bidding processes, from invitation to award.
• Monitor purchase orders, follow up with suppliers and ensure timely delivery and payment.
• Assist supervisors with complex, high‑value purchases and contribute to procurement planning.
• Participate in negotiations of terms and conditions and resolve delivery issues.
• Provide technical guidance to requisitioners and staff on procurement procedures.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain or logistics, preferably within an international or humanitarian organization.
• Knowledge of UN procurement rules and best practices.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is an asset.
