Senior Security Data Scientist (Python) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Security Data Scientist with strong Python expertise to turn large‑scale security data into actionable risk insights. You will work remotely, collaborating with security and engineering teams to build models that prioritize threats and guide decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quantitative analytics on large‑scale security data to uncover patterns and drive risk insights.
• Build analytical pipelines using Python, including statistical modeling and feature engineering.
• Query and analyze massive datasets across modern data warehouses.
• Develop risk models that incorporate vulnerability scoring frameworks and contextual signals.
• Communicate findings through visualizations and reports for engineering and leadership audiences.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analytics.
• Strong background in quantitative analytics on large‑scale security data.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn) for building analytical pipelines.
• Solid experience with statistical modeling and feature engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and data‑warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scoring frameworks (CVSS, EPSS, KEV) and risk modeling.
• Ability to integrate environmental, insider‑risk, and threat‑intel context into prioritization.
• Strong visualization and reporting skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
