Senior QA Engineer – Remote

About the role

As a Senior QA Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end test strategy for complex software products, acting as a strategic quality advisor while also executing hands‑on testing. You will work remotely with a global team of top‑tier engineers to ensure the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern comprehensive, multi‑layer test strategies covering UI, API, and performance testing.
• Lead risk identification and assessment to prioritize testing of critical business functionalities.
• Oversee the defect lifecycle, ensuring rigorous tracking, communication, and resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering leads and product managers to align quality goals with project roadmaps.
• Define and refine QA processes and standards to improve team velocity and software reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of quality excellence.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Strong experience in team leadership and managing the end‑to‑end defect lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of risk‑based testing methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
